About This Event

International Innovation ARSVOT Malaysia 2026 (IAM2026) is an international innovation competition and exhibition organized by the Association for Researcher of Skills and Vocational Training (ARSVOT), designed to provide a platform for students, researchers, educators, and innovators to showcase their ideas, prototypes, and research products. The event aims to promote creativity and innovation in addressing global challenges, particularly in the areas of technology, sustainability, and human well-being, while fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among participants from different backgrounds and countries. Through competitive presentations and expert evaluations, participants have the opportunity to gain recognition through awards such as gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as build networks and explore opportunities for further development and commercialization of their innovations.

1. This competition is open to all. 2. Participation is allowed individually or in groups (maximum FIVE (5) people per group including the Project Leader). 3. The competition will consist of FOUR (4) categories which are: 3.1 School 3.2 Vocational College 3.3 Tertiary Institution 3.4 Agency & Industry 4. The ideas, projects, or product suggestions SHOULD BE improvements of those previously presented in any competition. 5. The competition will be held VIRTUALLY and does not involve any physical exhibition during the competition period. The evaluation process will be conducted online by the appointed panel of evaluators. 6. Each entry will be charged a participation fee of RM99/USD30 for a team of up to FIVE (5) members. 7. The entry fee can be paid via online payment through the participant's portal. 8. The Secretariat reserves the right to amend any part of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice to the participants. 9. Each entry is COMPULSORY to submit all competition materials via the participant's portal. The required materials are as follows: 9.1 Project Slide 9.1.1 Must include the problem statement and justification. 9.1.2 Minimum of FIVE (5) and maximum of TEN (10) slides. 9.1.3 Participants may prepare the slides in either English or Bahasa Melayu. 9.2 Project Poster 9.2.1 Must be in A3 size. 9.2.2 Must include the following components:     9.2.2.1 Title     9.2.2.2 Introduction     9.2.2.3 Problem Statement     9.2.2.4 Objective(s)     9.2.2.5 Product/Prototype Design     9.2.2.6 Commercialisation     9.2.2.7 Novelty of the Product/Prototype 9.2.3 File format must be JPEG / JPG / PNG. 9.2.4 Participants may prepare the poster in either English or Bahasa Melayu. 9.3 Innovation Pitch (Video Presentation) 9.3.1 Must highlight the innovation process, including design and development technique and demonstration of the product/prototype. 9.3.2 Maximum duration is FIVE (5) minutes. 9.3.3 Presentation may be in English or Bahasa Melayu. 9.3.4 The video must be uploaded to the participant’s personal YouTube channel and the link submitted via the participant’s portal. 9.4 Important Info 9.4.1 Participants who do not submit all required materials will be disqualified. 10. The cost of preparing the competition materials shall be borne entirely by the participants. 11. The competition will be judged by a panel of evaluators who are experts in the relevant fields according to the categories and clusters provided. The judges' decision is final, and any objections or appeals regarding the results will not be entertained. 12. Participants can register online through the official website. 13. Results will be announced on the event day and published on the official website. 14. Participants who fail to submit all the required materials will be disqualified.
